Paul is just your average teenage boy. Then he summons a demon for love advice because he’s too shy to speak to his crush. But pursuing love is never easy as the demon Asteroth is just as clueless as Paul. Their plans of capturing the heart of a single girl prove to be more difficult than talking over the world. “Love Advice from the Great Duke of Hell” is a top-tier comedy with a ridiculous plot and hilarious illustrations to match. Unfins does a phenomenal job drawing out peculiar scenarios, and his comedic delivery always hits. It’s an unpredictable story with fun characters and is one of the best comedy webtoons I’ve ever read. Anyone will enjoy this webtoon if they want a good laugh.
Woori Choi has lived by herself for three years. On a night when she was feeling lonelier than usual, she unintentionally made a wish that changed her life. She woke up the next day to the voice of her dog, Maru, who had turned into a five-year-old girl! Pet owner turned big sister, Woori must learn how to raise a child with dog-like tendencies by herself. But raising a five-year-old is much harder than taking care of a dog.
“Maru is a Puppy” has such a silly plot, yet creator Mojo brings it to life. The webtoon’s art style is simple and refreshing to look at. Because Maru’s human form with dog features feels so cursed but adorable at the same time, it makes ordinary moments more hilarious. The storyline is wholesome, funny, and spontaneous, like a dog loose from its leash. I’m excited to read more of this webtoon and can’t wait for its weekly updates!
“Extreme Gardener” centers on comic artist Milo and her daily struggles and achievements in gardening. Learn the ins and outs of how to water, propagate, grow, and keep plants alive as Milo retells her gardening tales while featuring personified plants.
This webtoon is such a fun read! The simple art style was easy to enjoy without having to overanalyze. The personified plants are cute with their tiny limbs, while others are comical with bulking muscles and beady eyes. Milo’s journey in this webtoon is relatable to anyone who’s ever attempted plant parenthood.
Haeun is a nobleman who, instead of studying, likes to read gay erotica. One day, he meets Dullseh, the handsome new servant. It was love at first sight for Haeun. Since then, Haeun tries in every way to seduce Dullseh to obtain both his body and heart. But innocent and clueless Dullseh misunderstands Haeun’s advances and becomes awestruck, viewing Haeun simply as a benevolent master. Will Haeun ever win over Dullseh’s heart?
“Beauty and the Brawn” is really entertaining for a 17-episode webtoon. It’s impressive how the creator built an engaging story with endearing characters in only a few episodes. Its art style adorably works well with the webtoon’s light and hilarious story. Combined with a comical storyline, this webtoon was very enjoyable to read.
When university student Sawaka Kinga applied to work at Shibata Bar, she never imagined that her coworker would be a walking and talking Shiba Inu! Shiba, the cute and hardworking dog, quickly becomes Kinga’s good friend and a favorite to all the customers. Follow the story of Kinga and Shiba in “Shiba, the Part-Timer Waiter” as they work together to serve customers from different backgrounds.
If you want a webtoon without any complex and complicated plots, this is a good one to read. It is a wholesome and sweet webtoon, perfect for a day when you’re relaxing with some time to spare for a little reading.
