Cooking Sorcerer
by Dahan, PIRIPARA, Purple Lemon
Genre: Fantasy
Episodes: 42, Ongoing
Yoojung Seo is a tattoo artist who loves cooking delicious food while reading her favorite web novels. One night while enjoying a fresh meal, she hears a strange noise from outside her apartment. As Yoojung goes to investigate, she slips and falls, causing a fatal accident. After her untimely death, she finds herself transported into the world of “Ageustic Prince,” the web novel she was reading. With the help of a little fairy, Yoojung learns to adapt to the world as Sylvia, the plant sorcerer. She eventually crosses paths with Felix, the web novel’s main character. Pitying him, she decides to help Felix overcome his ageusia with her magical abilities and passion for cooking. But how will the novel unfold as Sylvia’s interactions with Felix change the course of the story?
Cooking Sorcerer takes an exciting spin on isekai romance with a fantasy cooking-related plot. Although fantasy cooking is a popular subgenre in anime and manga, (e.g. Delicious in Dungeon and Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill) it’s not seen often in webtoons. Along with its delicious-looking depictions of food, Cooking Sorcerer has a charming plot that will keep you wanting to read more. And with a strong female lead and an emotionally expressive male lead with depth, this romance fantasy webtoon is a top pick to read.
Who this is for:
- Fans of isekai webtoons.
- People who enjoy interesting cooking and food-focused plots.

My Life as an Internet Novel
by A Hyeon, Yu Han-ryeo
Genre: Romance
Episodes: 212, Ongoing
Dani was just a normal girl living an ordinary life. But one day, she wakes up to unfamiliar changes around her, from a new school uniform to a childhood best friend that never existed before. A run-in with four insanely handsome boys reveals that her life had turned into a cliché romance web novel, and her “best friend” is the story’s female lead. Determined to not get attached to the fictional world, Dani builds a wall around her to push everyone away. But what can she do when the main characters of the fictional world refuse to leave her alone?
My Life as an Internet Novel is an isekai-type story that blurs the line between the real world and the world of a novel. This webtoon is a cute modern romantic comedy that is also surprisingly gut-wrenching. The story touches on the reality of being placed in an unfamiliar situation with no way out and the psychological effects that can have on an ordinary person. But while the story can get heavy, it’s overall a lighthearted tale with amazing character growth and relationships. It’s always a giddy moment with the multiple love interests and you don’t know who to ship with the MC. This story is such a moving webtoon I’d recommend anyone to read.
Who this is for:
- Readers who like modern romantic comedies.
- Fans of stories with reverse harems.

As my all-time favorite since I first read it, this webtoon is so beautifully heartbreaking as it dives into themes of love, friendship, and human emotions. The characters and their growth are mesmerizing in how real they feel. The main storyline, in addition to the many side stories, is simply spellbinding with vivid writing and intense illustrations full of emotions. Don’t miss out on this timeless love story.
