If you’ve been locked in on G.I. Joe comics since its relaunch with Image, then you’ll want to have your wallet and pull list ready for April. The month is packed with a series of one-shots that each put a spotlight on some of the biggest characters in the G.I. Joe Universe. The series of comics will feature work from top-tier creators like Wes Craig, Dan Watters, Andrew Krahnke, and many more! 

But G.I. Joe is not the only thing on the menu from Image in April. Battle Beast will make his triumphant return to comics through a new spin-off series by Invincible creators Roberts Kirkman and Ryan Ottley.

April is also a big month in the trade paperback and hardcover front. The one I'm most excited about getting my hands on is the collected edition of Precious Metal by Darcy Van Poelgeest and Ian Bertram. It was easily one of my favorite comics in 2024, with its mind-bending sci-fi adventure. It truly felt like no other comic I’ve read before. 

Another standout I'm looking forward to is Daniel Warren Johnson and Riley Rossmo’s The Moon is Following Us. The series is another testament to how DWJ is arguably one of the best comic creators today, and he has one hell of a collaborator in Rossmo to tell a bold and emotional story. Those two books and many more in April will fit very nicely in anyone’s collection.

As usual, Image has another stacked month of ongoing releases to look forward to in April. Titles like The Lucky Devils, Nights, and Bug Wars all have secured spots on my monthly pull list for good reason.  I love having plenty of variety in my selection of comics, and Image is always the best publisher to turn to for that. Whether you’re into fantasy comics, romance, or even some superhero stuff, there’s a comic out there to discover. Check out these ongoing comics and you’re bound to find something that will slip right into your monthly fix of awesome comics!
