Let's check out some of the new Marvel comics this week we are most excited about!
X-Men #22
By Gerry Duggan, Joshua Cassara, and Marte Gracia
After stopping the Sins of Sinister, mutantkind is once again at its strongest. But it's the revitalized strength of the mutants that fuels Orchis to tear it all down. The anti-mutant group of Nimrod, MODOK, and Karima Shapandar put their plans in motion to prepare for the Fall of X.
Venom #19
By Al Ewing, CAFU, and Frank D'Armata
After achieving true enlightenment, Eddie Brock is on his path to making things right. But considering how battered and brutalized he’s been, does Eddie truly understand his role in the grand scheme of things? Fueled by his grit and determination, Eddie will transform into his most powerful form yet. All to help keep Dylan safe.
Hulk Annual #1
By David Pepose, Caio Majado, and Edgar Delgado
In the lead-up to a new series debuting this June, the Hulk faces off against one of Marvel’s oldest monsters, Giganto! A thrill-seeking camera crew looking to snap footage of the mythical creature finds themselves caught between two unstoppable giants. This is all but a taste of the Hulk’s new vicious side as the Age of Monsters is upon the Marvel Universe.
X-Force #40
By Benjamin Percy, Robert Gill, Paul Davidson, and Guru-eFX
With the future restored and the leadership of Krakoa in flux, the X-Force is back with a brand new team tasked to take down Beast. But before they can stop the mad scientist and his devious plans, the team of Colossus, Wolverine, Deadpool, Omega Red, Sage, and Domino come face-to-face with a remnant of the past.
Fantastic Four #7
By Ryan North, Iban Coello, and Jesus Aburtov
As the legacy #700 issue of Fantastic Four, this latest installment is going big! This massive 52-page issue has Reed and the gang arriving at a new home. Only to be greeted by a terrible being capable of warping their minds. What they thought to be a fresh start outside the big city could spell Doom for Marvel’s First Family.
She-Hulk #13
By Rainbow Rowell, Andrés Genolet, and Dee Cunniffe
It’s never easy an easy day in the office for Marvel’s most powerful lawyer. Jen has to fight for her life when the new villain in town, Scoundrel, makes big moves throughout the city. It takes the help of Hellcat to get the job done.
The Avengers #1
By Jed MacKay, Carlos Villa, and Federico Blee
A new powerhouse team of Avengers assembles under the leadership of Captain Marvel. The arrival of Terminus, the alien cybernetic being, brings about a new danger that threatens the planet. But it seems an old “friend” might have other plans for the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. With that much star power in one title, this is easily one of the biggest new Marvel comics coming out this week.
Guardians of the Galaxy #2
By Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly, Kev Walker, and Matt Hollingsworth
Even while at the edge of the solar system, the Guardians of the Galaxy can’t help but find themselves in the middle of trouble. A civil war has broken out on the desert planet. It’s up to the Guardians to stop it. But with how bad things have gotten between the people, they may be fighting a lost cause. On top of all this bad luck, the Guardians still have to deal with Grootfall when it arrives.
