Imagine if this was James Gunn’s Justice League

James Gunn is now fully at the helm of the DCEU. He’s already made shakeups like removing both Henry Cavill and Dwayne Johnson from their roles as Superman and Black Adam, respectively, in favor of a new direction for the franchise. Such major moves are a sign already of how far Gunn is willing to go to make his vision a reality. While fans are split on the decisions he’s already made, many can't help but be curious about what the famed director is cooking up.

Recently on r/comicbooks, user u/WednesdayPull unearthed an interesting panel from Justice League: Generation Lost issue #14. It features the Justice League but not as we know them.

Fans can’t help but speculate if James Gunn is ballsy enough to take DC in such a wild direction. With his history of taking obscure characters like the Guardians of the Galaxy and pushing them into the mainstream, he may be crazy enough to do it.

Let’s see what some Redditors had to say about this fun fan theory:

Some are not convinced this is the way to go
