Master & Apprentice (Star Wars)
Description
Set before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Master & Apprentice explores the complex relationship between Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. As Qui-Gon contemplates an invitation to join the Jedi Council, Obi-Wan grapples with his Master's unconventional methods and his fascination with ancient Jedi prophecies. Their bond is further tested when they are dispatched to the royal court of Pijal to resolve a political dispute alongside Jedi Rael Averross, a former student of Dooku.
Amidst deceit and visions of impending disaster, Qui-Gon's growing faith in prophecy clashes with Obi-Wan's wavering trust. As tensions rise, they must confront a looming threat that demands they unite as never before, or risk being torn apart forever. Written by Claudia Gray, this novel delves into the challenges and uncertainties faced by the iconic Jedi duo as they navigate their destinies within the expansive Star Wars universe.
