The beautiful thing about comics these days is that you’re bound to find unique stories everywhere you look. In this comic’s desolate world, the mermaid’s only companion left is her faithful axolotl. But when the mermaid encounters a fearsome beast in the wild, a mysterious warrior enters the fray. The problem is that the mermaid does not know if her new associate is a friend or foe. Creator Derek Kirk Kim is killing it in this series with some of the most beautifully done sequential art you’ll see in comics today.
