Image Comics is starting 2025 strong with a great selection of new comics to dive into. The one I’m most excited about is The Lucky Devils #1. Created by Charles Soule and Ryan Browne, the team behind the incredible Eight Billion Genies, The Lucky Devils follows the story of two plucky and rebellious demons who decide to start a revolution in Hell itself. Another standout is The Seasons #1 by Rick Remender and Paul Azaceta. Remender’s Giant Generator imprint has been on a tear this last year, and more comics from them will always be a good thing to look out for.

This is the section for all you trade waiters out there. Image Comics always kills it with the quality of their TPBs and hardcover editions, and 2025 is already looking packed with heavy hitters. The one to look out for is Nights (Season One) Vol 2 by Wyatt Kennedy and Luigi Formisano. The series continues to be a sleeper hit and its collected editions are usually packed with extra goodies for readers to enjoy. Another highlight is Jeff Lemire’s Fishflies hardcover. While a collected edition was not initially in the books for Lemire’s eerie new comic, the upcoming hardcover will be a great way to experience the mind-bending story in its entirety.

Over the last two years, Image Comics has ramped up its imprints to create plenty of great spaces for unique comics to thrive. With Skybound’s Energon Universe, Geoff John’s Ghost Machine, and Rick Remender’s Giant Generator, you’re bound to find plenty of great comics to fill up your monthly pull list. 2025 is primed for another big year for the indie publisher, as many of the industry’s best creators continue to put out stories unlike anything else you can find across comics.
