Since unveiling Absolute Flash at New York Comic Con 2024, it’s been revealed that the Flash in the comic will be none other than Wally West. Absolute Flash will spotlight the speedster in a bold reimagining that strips away his usual support system. In this version, Wally must uncover the secrets of the Speed Force entirely on his own. Typically, he’s always had previous Flashes, like Barry Allen and Jay Garrick, to guide his way as a superhero. But in true Absolute Universe fashion, that foundation is stripped away to make way for a bold new story to thrive. 

It will be exciting to see Jeff Lemire’s character-driven writing style mesh with Nick Robles’ flashy and bombastic art.
