What better way to celebrate the holiday season than with a fantastic selection of Image comics to dive into? The indie publisher just dropped their full list of solicitations for December, and it’s looking like another stacked month of great comics. Not only is the month packed with plenty of ongoing comics to fill your pull lists, but there are also several new comics to keep your eye on for the end of the year. So, be sure to check your pull lists this December, and check them twice!

Here’s a breakdown of what to expect this December from Image Comics:

Plenty of intriguing new #1 issues and one-shots to check out.
Several trade paperbacks and hardcovers of recent hits and classic comics.
A massive selection of ongoing comics from many of the industry’s best creators.

#1 Issues

Image Comics is ending the year strong with a great selection of new series to sink your teeth into. From Luana Vecchio’s Doll Parts to Jesus Orellana’s Juvenile, there are new miniseries to keep an eye on if you love diving into strange and intriguing comics. But on top of that, several one-shots will help you get into the Christmas spirit. The Creepshow 2024 Holiday Special will be an interesting one to check out if you’re in the mood to mix in some scares with your Christmas cheer.

On the graphic novel side of things, Image Comics will hold things down for December as well. I can’t wait to finally get my hands on the collected edition of The One Hand and The Six Fingers, as it’s one of my most anticipated graphic novels of the year. That, alongside lots of other great trade paperbacks and hardcovers, is going to make great additions to anyone’s comic book collection.

Ongoing Comics

This is where things get exciting. Image Comics has a fantastic line-up of comics for December, as each week either has a finale or a returning favorite dropping. I’m particularly excited to see Bryan Lee O’Malley and Leslie Hung’s Snotgirl finally return after so many years on hiatus. The final of Rick Remender’s Grommets is also one I can’t wait for, as it has been one of my favorite comics of the year. Considering December is always the most expensive time of year, you’d best have your wallets ready for all the great comics there are to dive into for the month.
